Ahhh – event season. The last months of the year that every marketer either loathes or loves. Here are Modern Marketing Today, we love it! From events like the Sitecore Symposium to the upcoming Dreamforce conference – we cover them all. The GAIN Conference hosted by Government Marketing University  is no different – it gives us a chance to look back at the marketing trends for 2019, prep for 2020 by discussing new opportunities and best practices, and celebrate marketers in the federal space that have done outstanding work.

This year’s conference, on November 12th, will take an in-depth look at “The Customer Journey,” provide attendees with valuable networking time, and the opportunity to learn from influential government marketers. Martha Dorris, former head of the Office of Strategic Programs at the General Services Administration, will be the keynote speaker this year and share insight into B2G, G2G, and G2C, government-to-citizen, marketing.

“We welcome former and new GAINer’s to our 4th annual GAIN Conference,” said Lou Anne Brossman, CEO and Co-Founder of GMarkU. “Each year, we welcome government experts and market thought leaders to teach and share relevant strategies and best practices for this niche industry. We are proud to have Martha Dorris share her insights on the Customer Journey and look forward to another year of knowledge sharing.”

Other speakers include Liz Anthony, Senior Vice President of Marketing at ViON, and Mark Amtower, Managing Partner of Amtower & Company. Stay tuned for news on the 2019 GAINER winners. Categories include brand awareness, events, social media, innovation, partner marketing and lead generation.
